Welcome to my online world. Feel free to wander around and learn more about Sicily, about me, and about my passions for food, entertaining, and travel.

Sicilian Feasts, published in 2004 by Hippocrene Books, explores the varied cuisine of this Mediterranean island while sharing recipes, anecdotes, stories, photos, and more. Since coming to the US at age 10 I've kept these passions alive with frequent trips back with my family and friends.

Language and Travel Guide to Sicily, published in 2009 by Hippocrene Books  explores the culture, history, and language of Sicily while taking the reader on a tour of the nine provinces of our ancient island: Agrigento, Caltanissetta, Catania, Enna, Messina, Palermo, Ragusa, Siracusa and Trapani. The book includes two CD’s with recordings of the dialogues which were created especially for this  book recited in Sicilian and in Italian by Giovanna Bellia La Marca and Dr. Salvatore Moltisanti, both native speakers of each of the languages.

The Cooking of Emilia Romagna, another Hippocrene book, will hit the shelves in the fall of 2010.
